XIII. Forum Else Lasker-Schüler in Sanary

Solo Concert in Sanary sur Mer - France. Invited by the Else Lasker-Schüler Gesellschaft, Wuppertal for the XXIII. Forum that had taken place in Sanary, where many German-speaking artists had fled from the Nazis and were waiting to get a ship overseas.

Release of the song "Als der Nebel kam"

It's a poetic German rock song about love that withered like roses in summer, until the next bloom. I dedicated this release to the Berlin poet Andreas Hähle who wrote the German lyrics and died too soon. This is the German version of my song Rising Mist from the album Shine Bright. Mix & mastering by John Shamir.

Hey folks, here we are in this lockdown virus thing and I hope all of you and your beloved are doing well.

Lets' do the best out of it! 

So we are working on the next album and get finished writing about 9 songs. I am happy about that and hopefully we can go to the studio soon !!!

Die Liebeslieder von Caroline TUDYKA

Diese schillernde Sängerin mischt in ihren durchaus rockigen Songs Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch.

Mit ihrer Band « Tudyka »oder allein am Klavier, singt Caroline Tudyka über die Facetten der Leidenschaft. Und wenn sich Liebe auch nicht unbedingt mit« immer » reimt, zeigt die seit gut zwanzig Jahren in Frankreich lebende Deutsche eine grenzenlose Begeisterung dafür.

Das erste, was bei Caroline Tudyka auffällt, ist ihre tiefe Stimme. Ein rundes, warmes Timbre, dessen Akzent ahnen lässt, dass sie weit herumgekommen ist. Gebürtig aus dem Südwesten Deutschlands kam Caroline »vor über zwanzig Jahren" zum Studium nach Frankreich und blieb. "Ich wusste, ich wollte in einer großen Stadt leben, ich wohnte 600 Kilometer von Paris entfernt, also nicht sehr weit. Ich hatte mich hier an einer Schule für Musik und Tanz beworben und wurde genommen (hätte ich nicht gedacht) und nach den ersten sechs Monaten wollte ich nie wieder weg", sagt sie.

In dieser Schule « Le Studio des Variétés », in der sie das Künstlerhandwerk erlernt (Tanz, Harmonielehre, Bühne, Gesang), trifft sie viele interessante Leute und sammelt ihre ersten Tournéeerfahrungen als Choristin und Sängerin in dem Musical « Les Nuits Noires de Monde » (Michelle Bernard). Sie tourten durch ganz Frankreich und die Schweiz.

Gedichte singen

Caroline schreibt ihre Texte selbst oder übersetzt Gedichte in drei Sprachen: Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch. Nach einem autodidaktischen Erlernen der Elektromusik am Computer, fand sie schließlich Musiker, die die gleiche musikalische Vision haben: John Shamir, Schlagzeuger, Komponist und

Arrangeur und Fabien Mornet, Gitarrist, Texter und Komponist. Gemeinsam schufen sie den unverkennbaren Tudyka-Sound.

Die Sängerin hat auch Gedichte von Dylan Thomas (Clown in the Moon), Friedrich Nietzsche (Oh Mensch gib Acht!) und Else Lasker-Schüler (Die Liebe, Ich liebe Dich) vertont. Spielerisch wechselt sie in ihren Kompositionen vom Deutschen, ihrer Muttersprache, ins Französische oder ins Englische und umgekehrt. Eine tiefe Stimme mit Relief und Kontrasten. Lieder, die zwischen Rock und poetischem Chanson fließen und mit unendlicher Leidenschaft vorgetragen.

Eine Künstlerin, die sich auch in anderen Bereichen kreativ betätigt: Video clips, Fotografie u.a. Und das fühlt, sieht und hört man. Die meisten Lieder von Caroline Tudyka handeln von der Liebe in all ihren

Formen. Ein abgedroschenes Thema? "Liebe ist mein Motor und es ist ein Katalysator, wenn wir einen Menschen lieben, uns verlieben oder was auch immer wir tun, die Liebe trägt uns, wir sind im Hier und Jetzt ». Wenn sie das sagt, leuchten ihre Augen und unser Herz pocht schneller.
